Computer: April 2006 Archives
I've just found out that a BLOGZOT 2.0 on MacZOT.com is going on, this time to lower the price for SubEthaEdit from CodingMonkeys. If things go as planned, enough blogs will mention this and the price will reach $0.00. Maczot will then give away 3000 licences of SubEthaEdit, which means that MacZOT and TheCodingMonkeys will award $105,000 in Mac software.
If you want to help, go to the MacZOT site and add an entry to your blog. SubEthaEdit looks like a really cool editor, I tried it a long time ago and will definitely try it again. And the coolest thing about it: its name ;-) (OK, maybe collaborative editing is the coolest thing, and the name only comes second ;-) ).
Following the great instructions from the updated BG1Tutu FAQ (which I'm beta testing), I was able to Tutu Baldur's Gate 1 Tales of the Sword Coast so that I can now play it using the Baldur's Gate II engine, under OS X instead of Classic. It makes the game prettier and it fixes a bunch of small things. It took me a few hours (of stupidly following the instructions), but I'm glad I spent them :-)
Yet another good deal from macZot: if 259 blogs mention it, the price of AppZapper 1.3 will go down enough so that it becomes free. So if you have a blog, you know what you need to do ;-)
