How the current credit crisis started: a "must listen"
I cannot remember how I found it, but I now have to share it. Back in early May, This American Life and NPR News collaborated on a story the explains how the current credit crisis came to be, in a very pedagogical way. The show lasts about one hour, but I recommend it most highly. You can listen to it directly from This American Life site.
I liked this a lot, too. I would summarize as: greed, willful ignorance. By the way, have you checked out www.longnow.org — some very good material here. The podcast is on iTunes under 'SALT-Seminars About Long Term Thinking.'
Thanks for the link. I've just subscribed to their podcast. It seems very interesting...
