The new Amazon mp3 store

There's been quite a bit of buzz about it, so I decided to try the Amazon mp3 store myself. I wanted to buy the "Dueling Banjos" song but could not find it without DRM on iTunes. On Amazon, however, it's there (in many versions) and it's quite cheaper. And without DRM, of course. So I just bought the whole "Bluegrass Favorites" album of the Wood Brothers, and the experience was seamless: the files downloaded slowly (on my still borrowed connection: we have received the modem but are still waiting for the activation of the line) and were automatically transferred to iTunes, ready for me to listen to them.

Cheap, convenient, and easy. iTunes music store: there's a new kid on the block, and he means business.
